Why can the swatch and dress look different?
April Tea describes distinct fabric shaders, including different kinds of shine for silk and velvet. May Tea says the inventory preview was revised to represent highlights more accurately, especially for those two materials. Those statements explain why a single flat colour sample is a limited guide to their appearance.
They do not establish a material as higher quality or more suitable for every order. Separate the visual effect from the labels used by the current requirement display.
How can you compare them fairly?
| Compare | Hold steady | Look for |
|---|---|---|
| Silk and velvet candidates | Component and camera view | Shape and position of highlights |
| Two dark materials | View and lighting | Whether bright areas alter the apparent colour |
| Gradient on two components | Chosen material | Where the visible transition falls |
| Plain and patterned choices | Silhouette | Whether ornament remains readable |
Select one candidate at a time. Inspect both a large skirt area and a smaller sleeve or collar before changing the whole garment. Record the exact inventory name so you can find the same material later; a screenshot of a bright area alone may not identify it.
Which October silk names can you search for?
Build 443 lists Burning Forest, Golden Dawn, Lavender Field and Snowflake Gradient Silks in its combined shot-silk and gradient-silk additions. The announcement does not classify every name individually or give their precise tag values. Confirm the selected item in the shop rather than assigning a score from a name such as Forest or Snowflake.
New content follows campaign unlocks, with retroactive access when the relevant point has already been reached. If an option is missing, compare campaign state and category before using an unverified fixed-level rule.
How do customer preferences fit into this?
The community profiles report silk for Prudence and Adora, and velvet for Vivian. Their different favourite colours are useful design context. Read each active order before treating that preference as its material requirement.
For the broader method, use fabric previews. For a score that changes after swapping a small component, consult component requirements and the official Build 443 notes.
