Troubleshooting: protect the project and report clearly

When a project stops halfway through, preserve the state before trying several unrelated fixes. Keep a screenshot and version, then choose the next step. Similar-looking problems do not necessarily share the same workaround.

Match the symptom to a stage

For missing pieces or an unfinished dress, check panels and remaining seams. For customer summoning, trim classification or payment, compare Build 403. For sketchbook entry points, inventory hints, wheel behaviour or tutorial blockage, read the Build 410 record.

Check the edition for Mac or prototype advice

The developer’s prototype page explains that the older release was not Apple-notarised and gives matching opening instructions. Confirm the official download and edition first; do not assume that advice applies to Steam. The 0.5.5 skirt and sleeve fixes are prototype history too.

Use the official support destination

The developer page links the community Discord, and the August log requests relevant saves with reports. Follow those official links and send files that may contain personal information through private support. Clear steps and a screenshot give the team a better starting point.
