What is actually new in the October patch?
The 14 October Build 443 announcement separates dress pieces, fabrics, accessories and trims. Keep those groups distinct when looking for an addition. A skirt is a component choice, while a fabric changes the material used on pieces; an accessory and a trim can have separate counted categories in a commission.
These are the names in the official English announcement. Your language setting may display translated names. If you cannot find an item, check the category and campaign progress before concluding it is missing. This page is a lookup for the announced additions, not a complete shop inventory.
Which fabrics are named?
| Family in the announcement | Named addition | What to compare in your project |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton | Autumnal Vine Border Print Cotton | Border position on a narrow and wide piece |
| Cotton | Spring Vine Border Print Cotton | Border position against the planned hem or edge |
| Cotton | Taupe Cotton | Displayed colour and style requirements |
| Lace fabric | Silver Lace | Fabric category, rather than lace-trim count |
| Lace fabric | Pastel Pink Lace | Actual item labels and garment preview |
| Shot or gradient silk group | Burning Forest | The current preview and material labels |
| Shot or gradient silk group | Golden Dawn | The current preview and material labels |
| Shot or gradient silk group | Lavender Field | The current preview and material labels |
| Shot or gradient silk group | Snowflake Gradient Silks | Gradient position across the selected components |
The final four belong to the announcement’s combined shot-silk and gradient-silk group. It does not give a separate technical classification or exact tag table for each name. A name suggesting a colour or motif is not enough to assign a requirement value. Read the selected item in your game.
The fabric preview guide explains why highlights can change how a swatch reads. The print planning guide helps compare a directional border with panel orientation, without claiming a guaranteed seamless result.
Which components and accessories were added?
| Group | Addition | Planning implication |
|---|---|---|
| Skirt | Less-poofy chrysanthemum variant | Compare the silhouette before changing other components |
| Skirt | Longer pencil-skirt variant | Inspect the full length in the current project |
| Accessory | Silver Clasp | Check category and placement requirements |
| Accessory | Silver Narcissus Chain | Compare the selected item with any counted condition |
| Accessory | Silver Twin Souls Chain | Inspect placement from more than one view |
| Trim | Black Dagger Beaded Trim | Read the counted item type when using filters |
| Trim | Widow’s Lace Trim | Distinguish the trim from lace fabric |
The update also makes typed beads on trim appear when filtering for that item type. A filter result helps find a candidate; it does not prove that the finished commission has reached its target. Check progress after applying the material or decoration.
How do retroactive unlocks work in the announcement?
The developer says the new content unlocks through the campaign as usual. If a player has already passed the point that would unlock it, the content unlocks retroactively. The post does not publish a chapter-by-chapter table or promise every new item at the beginning of a fresh game.
If an expected entry is absent, note its exact name, category, installed build and current campaign position. Clear or check the active search/filter before reporting it. Do not reset campaign progress as a first diagnostic step. The update compatibility guide provides a record for comparing an existing save with a patch.
Should you replace an existing fabric immediately?
First decide what the replacement is supposed to improve: a required material, a colour target, a border position or appearance alone. Hold the component layout steady while comparing. Then review the brief and current price before buying enough for the project. An attractive new silk does not replace a cotton condition.
For a free design, write down the intended visual change and compare it from the same angle. For a commission, check the separate conditions again because Build 443 also changes the influence of small components on colour and fabric requirements. The component requirement guide explains that patch change; the budget guide keeps purchases separate from material actually used.
